早上，客厅里传来了我读英语的声音，我以前英语学习的不太好，暑假爸爸让我再学一遍。
我还没睡醒，就迷迷糊糊开始读了，说是读，其实是跟着磁带学，会的说一遍，不会的跟着磁带乱说一通，很快就读到了第四单元。
妈妈来检查，前面几个内容还简单，到了后面就有点吃不消了，怎么读呀、意思是什么呀一个个问题出现在我的脑子里，妈妈见我这么多都不会，叫爸爸来教我，爸爸教一个，我读一个，后来还是一个记不住，只有硬着头皮学，刚好英语书上有一个内容题目叫“读读写写”，爸爸就让我抄了一遍，这一抄，问题更大，要么拿笔姿势不对，要么眼睛离书本太近，要么单词书写不规范……问题一个接一个。
我刚想抱怨英语单词太难，可又一想，这全都怪我平时上英语课不认真，老师讲课时，我在底下传纸条、做小动作、说话，根本没把老师放在眼里，没有意识到英语的重要性。听爸爸说，上中学以后，英语和语文数学一样重要，高考时英语不行也考不上好大学，就算考上了好大学，连英语都不会说，怎么和外国人交流？我可不想成为一个“少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲”的人。
想到这里，我决定暑假一定要补好英语：
一， 每天早上跟磁带读单词，读到会读为止；
二， 每天早上听写十个单词，写到会写为止；
三， 熟记课文意思，记会为止。

一天，又到了英语课。这时候小明是胆战心惊，因为他并没有把一个单词完完整整地记住。但又令他们不幸的是，今天老师来了个突然袭击——单词大抽查。“小明，上讲台上去听写。”老师一声喊到，这时候似乎他的心都已经凉了一大截。他慢吞吞地走上去，他是多么想回到没被抽到时。站在讲台上时，他的双腿是抖个不停。但在写单词时，手更是抖个不停。不一会儿，一些乱糟糟的单词在他的笔下写出。“啊，他看着自己写的单词心想到，今天可真的是完玩了。”老师一看他写的单词，似乎头上都冒着火星。但小明可够机灵，主动地把手给伸出来。虽然他怕被老师打手心，但他想到是自己没去记。他是认识到自己的错误才主动伸出手的。老师打了他两板，他咬紧双牙，眼泪没流下来。
从此以后，他就开始发奋地学习。每天晚上学到学校寝室关灯都还不肯休息，就在走廊里读上一个小时的单词。早上，不知他什么时候他又从温暖的被窝里爬了起来，把单词读了一个小时才到教室里去早读。
他开始对英语如痴如迷，空闲时都把单词挂在嘴边。英语似乎已经融入了他的`生活里。如果英语一下子不存在的话，他就会像生了病一样。
从此以后，他再也没被老师批评过了。而且他还成了他们班上的一个英语高手。

心里很着急自己不会说，但念又想：我已经是二年级的学生了，要给自己自信才能学好英语。于是，我不再害怕，离开爸爸妈妈，在一旁辅导老师教了几遍关于钦料的英语。不一会儿，我就做为小嘉宾在台上用游戏表演我的所学。一上台，一位辅导老师就用英语不停地唤醒另一位辅导老师，然后就用欢快的英语进入主题，每人想得到自己的饮料，必须说对饮料的单词，而且说完后并用英语说致谢语，再互相对碰一下。我非常想得到一瓶饮料说对了“i like”，一瓶绿茶被我得到了，但最终绿茶没能在我的手中，又被其它小朋友说对了，轮到另外一个小朋友手中。原来这是做为演示用的。连爸爸妈妈也参加了互动，与我们一起比拼谁会说会认，还与我们一起做简单的英语边唱边跳，看着妈妈有点害羞的样子，小小的我给予她鼓励的眼神，终于，妈妈同样也自信起来，而且做得非常不错。
很快就到中午分，讲座也结束了，我觉得整个学习过程生动活泼而有趣，这是一个很好的家人共同学习的周日。

课堂上，老师没有给我们写作业的时间，布置家庭作业时，班里顿时变得鸦雀无声，因为，有一些不喜欢上英语课的同学希望作业少一点。当老师说：“今天作业只抄写本单元14个单词，每个单词抄写10遍”时，班里立刻热闹起来，有的人欢呼雀跃——那些学习差的同学希望作业少，所以很高兴；有的人窃窃私语——学习中等的同学对作业量无所谓；还有的人长长地叹了一口气——学习好的同学为作业太少而郁闷（大家对作业的量报以不同的态度）。
回到家，我就开始抄词，14个单词，一共要抄140遍，我很快就完成了，因为我昨天预习了，顺便把单词背下来了。抄完词，我又选择eat和play两个词造句，结果遇到了拦路虎，我请教课本，顺利解决了问题（课本真是我们无声的老师）。
喜欢上英语课的人，盼望老师布置更多的作业，不喜欢上英语课的人，则是在有英语课那天祈祷作业少一点。总结我做英语作业的体会：要想完成的好，必须喜欢它。我很喜欢英语，从小就对英语情有独钟，所以，我觉得，做英语作业并不难。

1.认真地看两遍题目，包括提示，全面了解写作要求。
2.理清思路，确定体裁、框架结构和内容。
二、用英语进行思维英语写作时必须排除汉语思维的干扰。

但是回想起往事，我曾是一个多么幼稚无知的小孩呀。那时候，我不爱学习，也不知道学习有什么用。特别是英语，一看到26个字母就头疼。上英语课时，老师念“a”，我就小和尚念经——有口无心似的跟着念。心想这不就是我们上一年级时学的汉语拼音吗？怎么一会儿这样念，一会儿又那样念，真把人弄糊涂了。再一想，反正就这40分钟，混过去就算了。还不住地埋怨“英国人”，为什么要发明这么难念难写难记的“英语”。“汉语”多顺口哇！就为这，我还没少挨爸爸妈妈的“批”呢！

经过紧张的复习和准备，终于到了5月20日---参加全国小学生英语竞赛决赛的日子。
早上八点四十分，我就来到了决赛的场地----四海小学，我找到位子坐下来后，发现周围的同学都很严肃,我也不禁紧张起来。
我们华工附小五年级进决赛的有四位同学，分别是五（2）班的何皓霖、劳轩毅，五（3）班的彭承志和五（4）班的我。要知道，他们三个的英语可都是超厉害的呀！而且进入决赛后，竞争对手的实力都很强，我能如愿取得好成绩吗？
九点钟，比赛开始了，教室里鸦雀无声，只听到同学们翻动试卷的声音。我也投入到紧张的答题之中。一个小时后，比赛结束。
我觉得这次试题不能说很难，但是也不能说很简单。听力部分比较简单，我最怕的智力题竟然也出意料地简单，不过，很可惜，我还是由于粗心错了一题，而且错得非常乌龙：题目中有8张猫的图片，要我们找出两张一样的，我在把试卷交上去的一瞬间发现，我选的两张图片虽然看上去一模一样，但是两只猫却是一只有胡子，一只没有。唉！这一分丢得太不应该啦！伤心ing。
我觉得这次考试的语法和阅读理解部分比初赛难，我自以为自己掌握的词汇量比较多，但是仍然有几个词是我不懂的，这就使我对个别问题的回答不是很有把握。
这次考试的作文也不是我们特别熟悉的话题，题目是假设自己的爸爸是个警察，要介绍一下他的工作和生活。虽然我也写了70多个单词（题目要求是不低于60个单词），但是觉得没有以前写作文那么有话说。以前竞赛，我的作文经常是写到100字左右的。
考完试跟何皓霖讨论，他觉得题目不难，真是超牛啊！他一定能得一等奖！
回来后，妈妈还发现我还犯了两个粗心的错误，呜呜！妈妈说我的最大敌人是粗心！妈妈经常教育我说，不会做的题目错了，没关系。不会，以后再学。但是会做的题目，由于粗心做错了，就太可惜、太不应该了！但是，我却每次考试都要犯粗心的错误。唉唉唉！
无论如何，紧张的考试已经结束了，不去想它了！就等着出结果吧！老天保佑啊！
我一定要努力改掉粗心的毛病！

新老师是男是女，是不是很漂亮，眼睛是不是很大，短发还是长发……各种形象都出现在我的脑海中。我带着满脑袋的好奇在座位上等待着老师的到来。左等右等，终于在英语课上，我看见了她。她穿着白色的上衣，黑色的短裙，走过我的座位时，留下一阵香味抚摸着我。直到老师走到讲台我才看清她的样子:圆圆的脸上，一双炯炯有神的大眼睛刻在上面，乌黑的头发散发着一股清新的香味，一张红红的樱桃嘴一笑起来一定十分可爱。不过，我没看到老师笑。因为别看老师很漂亮，可是表情却非常严肃。她先进行自我介绍：“同学们好，我姓孔，是你们新的英语老师，希望我们今后合作愉快，共同努力搞好我们的英语成绩，好不好？”大家齐声说好，并鼓掌欢迎。

不一会儿下课了，孔老师让课代表，也就是我去认一下她的办公室，我乖乖的跟在旁边，可心里好像有一只小鹿在到处乱跳。谁知，孔老师又把手放在我的肩上，对我很亲切的样子，这下小鹿身上又压了一块大石头，顿时，我心跳加速，吃惊的眼睛睁的老大，狠狠地吸了一口气，老师对着我笑，而我又紧张的不敢去看孔老师她又问我：“你叫什么名字？”我说：“王……玥，”她说：“哦，王玥啊，说着就用手指向右手边第二张桌子，这就是我的桌子，以后作业都放在这上面。”我红着脸说：“哦?，知道了。”在回教室的路上我想，原来从不言笑的孔老师也有和蔼可亲的一面。那时，我觉得天格外蓝，云格外洁白，树格外的绿……
